The studio check

How much of your studio can you actually see?

Five questions every studio owner should be able to answer — about two minutes, nothing to connect. No grade at the end. Just your own answers, played back, what they are worth at your size, and what each blind spot looks like with something watching it.

What the check covers

Six places a studio loses money without noticing.

None of them shows up as a line on a report. Each one is a question you can either answer this morning, or you can't.

1How current are your numbers?A decision made on last month’s report is a decision about last month.
2Can you trace ad spend to members?Clicks and leads are easy to count. The number that settles a budget is what a member cost.
3When do you catch a fading member?Almost nobody cancels cold. The slide is in the attendance data for weeks first.
4What happens to a failed payment?A member whose card stopped working usually wants to stay. Someone has to ask.
5Who answers your reviews?Local search is how new people find a studio, and a reply is part of the listing.
6How many hours go to admin?Exports, follow-ups and month-end. The hours are real even when nobody counts them.

Straight answers

About the check.

Is the studio check really free?

Yes. It is five questions and three sliders, it takes about two minutes, and nothing is connected to your booking platform. You see your playback on the page whether or not you leave an email.

Do I get a score?

No. There is no grade and nothing out of 100. The check plays your own answers back as blind spots — the places where money or members can move without you seeing it happen — and shows what each one looks like with something watching it.

Where do the dollar figures come from?

From your own sliders, and nothing else. One member for a year is your price times twelve. One point of monthly churn is one percent of your members times your price. There is no benchmark in them and no promise; your real numbers come from your real data.

What happens to my email?

It is optional. If you ask for the playback by email you get one message with your results. No drip campaign, and your address is never sold or shared.

What should I do with the results?

Pick the blind spot that costs the most and look at how Xyzios handles it: each card links to the page that explains it. If you would rather see it on numbers like yours, a thirty-minute demo walks through all of them.

You can’t fix what you can’t see.
